Jennifer has come a long way since American Idol and she has also had a physical transformation as well.  She looks so much different than what she did during her time on American Idol during Season 3.  Jennifer never had any formal musical training but you would never know it to listen to her sing!  She has a beautiful voice!

Jennifer Hudson has really come a long way since American Idol!  She has done amazingly well in movies and now presidential candidate Barack Obama has asked her to sing the National Anthem at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

“Access Hollywood” says that Barack Obama asked Jennifer Hudson to sing the National Anthem on Thursday night when he formally accepts the party’s nomination. 

Hudson won an Oscar for her role in the hit movie, Dreamgirls.  Her debut album, Jennifer Hudson, is set to be released the end of September.  Her new film, The Secret Life of Bees, with Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys and Dakota Fanning, will be at theaters in October.
